PID’s approach to child sponsorships is unique. Since every child is different, sponsorships are based on the individual needs of each child. Sponsors are assigned a child, either in Haiti or Guatemala (you may choose whether you want a girl or boy and the country). A biography of the child is sent to you describing exactly how your sponsorship will help them. Our field workers will make regular visits to assess your child’s progress and to monitor general family concerns.

Your $25 a month could:

 Give nutritional supplements to malnourished children not in school (meals, vitamins, formula, etc.)

 Pay for school tuition

 Provide food, shoes and school supplies for children who have access to free schooling

 Provide medical care for a child with a medical condition that requires constant monitoring

 Provide tuition to send a high school grad to college or for vocational training

If you would like to sponsor a child, you can pay electronically through a Paypal account, a credit - or you can pay via paper check. Regardless of how you sponsor, please indicate whether you would prefer to sponsor a girl or a boy - and also if you would prefer to sponsor a child from Guatemala or Haiti.
