Imagine trying to support your family on less than $2.00 a day. In countries in which more than half of the population is unemployed, survival becomes a daily struggle. Normal business loans for those living in poverty are virtually non-existent.
Partners In Development works exclusively with the poorest of the poor in Haiti and Guatemala. With no credit history or collateral, participants in our Small Business Loan Program cannot qualify for a bank loan. With our micro-credit loans, impoverished families are able to start or further develop an income-generating business so they can provide for their family.
You can help by funding a small business – $110 will fund a business for six months (includes a $10 fee for a 14-hour small business training class).
