As a non-profit serving the extreme poor, we rely on support to help us change lives. There are numerous ways to get involved:
- Become a PID volunteer, as a community liaison, medical liaison, university liaison, donation coordinator.
- Sponsor a child in Haiti or Guatemala: $25/month.
- Travel with PID to Haiti or Guatemala: ~$760 plus airfare.
- Provide medical and dental care for an entire family: $25/month.
- Sponsor a business loan in Haiti or Guatemala: $100.
- Coordinate a fundraiser to build a house in Haiti or Guatemala: $3000
- Apply for one of our internship positions, and travel to Haiti or Guatemala while receiving school credit!
- Arrange for PID to speak at your church, civic group, or school.
- Make or coordinate a gifts-in-kind donation (vitamins, Tylenol, medical supplies, toothbrushes, toothpaste, flip-flops, items for our annual silent auction, etc).
- Spread the word about PID and our work!
