Guatemala Service Trips

PID runs different types of trips in Guatemala, which focus on the following areas, and are available according to the date of the scheduled trip:

  • Construction: Building homes or other types of construction (CO)

  • Children’s programs (CH)

  • Primary and maternal health care (M)

  • Dental care (D)

  • Special Programs (call and tell us your special skill!) (S)

Teams stay in a modest hotel, which provides sheets, pillows and towels as well as three meals a day and clean drinking water.

You will have access to:

  • water

  • showers

  • pool

  • wifi

TRIP COST: $900 plus airfare for 6 nights/ 7 days

Information About Security: Our private bus drives us to and from the airport, and on our cultural excursions, escorted by the tourist police. The hotel provides nighttime security.

  • All trip dates are subject to change

  • Current maximum number to travel per trip: 12 (up to 14 depending on type of trip)

  • Current minimum number to travel per trip: 8
